Tennessee's Governmental Tort Liability
Here's a good case to start your research on governmental tort liability in Tennessee: Bowers byBowers v. City of Chattanooga, 826 S.W.2d 427 (Tenn. 1992).
Although it's from 1992, it's still the law in Tennessee.
